Available in the following hardwoods: - Cherry, Mahogany and Oak. The plaque forms the roof of the box. It is hinged at the rear and fixed at the front with a screw. Remove the screw to lift the lid for seasonal box cleaning. The nesting box features a 3cm in diameter entrance hole allowing birds easy access to the box. There is a slot in the bottom of the box which allows the birds to keep the box clean.

Some species have more than one brood, so when one brood fledges and leaves the nest, do no immediately remove the nest as the parents may return to have another brood.

Positioning your nesting box: - The box should be fixed to a tree, post or wall at between 6 to 16 feet above the ground. This should be out of the reach of cats and people. The holes should be sheltered from prevailing winds and direct sunlight.

Maintenance : If no maintenance is carried out the wood will just weather slowly.

Step 5: If required, a design motif may be chosen.
If you want it personalised, please contact us prior to ordering to discuss it.
Step 6: A proof will be sent to the email address you supplied showing the font style and text you supplied as well as any motif. Confirm it is correct or tell us of any changes you require. The plaque will be engraved once all proofs are correct. The plaque forms the roof which is hinged one side and fixed to the front with a single screw.
Step 7: Tell us how you prefer to pay. We accept Card payment through Pay Pal, Bank Transfer and Cheques.
Step 8: The plaque nesting box takes 4 working days from confirmation of the proof. We post first class Royal Mail.
